Senior Building Code Consultant

We’re looking for a full-time Senior Building Code Consultant / Certified Professional with 8+ years experience, to join our team in VICTORIA, VANCOUVER or REGINA. Remote work is possible, with site reviews to be attended in the Lower Mainland.
Our ideal candidate:
Is a P.Eng,
Might be a Certified Professional,
Has 8+ years experience in the application of the VBBL and BCBC,
Is a strong and compassionate communicator, able to convey important information to co-workers, contractors and consultants verbally, visually, and in writing,
Has a valid driver’s license, and a vehicle to attend site visits throughout the Lower Mainland,
Is extremely organized, and project progress oriented, and
Takes initiative and accountability to get things done.
The Day to Day:
In this role you will manage and complete building code review projects. You will be responsible for managing project teams: directing and guiding the creation of code compliance drawings, design review reports, and alternative solutions, and reviewing and sealing the work of the team. You will be responsible for keeping projects on time and on budget. Through the project life cycle, you will communicate with clients and their design teams to achieve their project goals.
You will work to pursue and develop business opportunities and strong client relationships, and to win projects that you are excited to work on.
