Brian Fraser, P. Eng., C.P.
Brian Fraser is registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Victoria in 2002 and has worked as a consulting engineer in the construction industry since 2005. Earlier in Brian’s career, before focusing on Code Consulting and Fire Protection engineering, he worked as a design engineer and project manager on projects ranging from heavy industrial plants, light industrial plants, commercial buildings, tenant improvements and residential developments. As such, Brian has developed an excellent understanding of the multi-disciplinary requirements involved in the construction of new and alternation of existing buildings. Brian utilizes this knowledge when applying Fire Protection principles and Code Consulting services.
Brian successfully completed the Certified Professional (CP) course administered by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, in February 2012. As a CP (Vancouver, Surrey), Brian is a recognized as an expert in the application of Part 3 and the administrative components of the British Columbia Building Code and Vancouver Building Bylaw. Brian is also adept in the application of the National Building Code of Canada and the Alberta Building Code.
Brian is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and regularly completes training with NFPA in order to keep current on the developments in fire protection and building code development research and to provide clients with solutions based on the current state of the art. Brian also works regularly with the NFPA standards and codes, and the International Building Code (IBC) as a means of providing compliance and perspective in projects.
Diane Crombie, BA, BDes.
Diane studied Industrial Design at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design after completing her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at the University of British Columbia. She has over 10 years of experience working within the engineering consulting and design discipline, and over 5 years completing designs for retail, office, restaurant and residential renovations. Additionally, her involvement in such projects has led her to become proficient in managing the building permit process.
Marc Showers, EIT, BEng.
Marc Showers is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT). He graduated from the University of Victoria in 2015 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and joined Celerity shortly after, in October of 2015. Prior to joining Celerity, Marc worked as a junior mechanical designer during several co-op work terms, which focused on manufacturing and product design.
Brenda keeps us financially in order including all accounts payable and receivable matters.
